The Nelson Foundation, a private and independent organization dedicated to achieving meaningful and lasting improvements in the lives of disadvantaged individuals and communities around the world, with concentration on environmentally sensitive and critical infrastructure improvements. Founded by Michael E. Nelson, the private and independent foundation's charter enables it to do charitable work worldwide. Through the Nelson Foundation, Michael Nelson envisioned a philanthropic organization that would focus on promoting greater contributions in five specific areas: Environment, Education, Social Development, Child Welfare and Animal Welfare.  The www.CleanH2O.org project provides contributions benefiting each of the five major concentrations of the Nelson Foundation!
